Non-coding RNA in health and disease

SYMPOSIUM 3 MARCH | IN BELFRAGESALEN AT LUND UNIVERSITY
The term non-coding RNA is used for RNA that does not code for a protein, which does not mean that this type of RNA has no information or function. The opposite is true: it provides crucial information about health and disease. During the last decade, the number of new and putative functional non-coding RNAs has exploded. In this symposium, we focus on scientific breakthroughs of the function of noncoding RNAs and their implications for understanding basic processes in biology and disease.
