LUBI seminar series - Bioinformatic aspects in single cell RNA-seq

Lund University Bioinformatics Infrastructure (LUBI) will start organizing a seminar series this spring. The first seminar will take place on March 3rd, at 13-14. Ulrich Pfisterer and Per Brattås from Center for Translational Genomics (CTG) will talk about “Bioinformatics aspects in single cell RNA-seq”.

The talk will include an overview of the current scRNA-seq technologies and bioinformatics analyses, such as e.g. the most standard downstream analysis in Seurat, gene expression topologies, dimensionality reduction and trajectory analysis.

The second seminar this spring will be on April 13th, 13-14. Sven Nelander, Professor at Uppsala University, will then present "Data-driven discovery of treatments for nervous system cancers".  

A third seminar will be in May, information TBA.
