'Exploring the extreme biology of salamanders' - Stem Cell Talk with Nicholas Leigh
Lund Stem Cell Center invites you to join our next Stem Cell Talk, on 15 April featuring Associate Professor Nicholas Leigh. This event is open to all students and researchers at Lund University. No registration required.
Our monthly Stem Cell Talks offer a dynamic platform for Lund Stem Cell Center's Principal Investigators to present their research and share significant findings.
We are excited to continue the series with Nick Leigh, who will discuss his work which focuses on understanding why some species can regenerate complex structures like limbs, while others, such as humans, have limited regenerative abilities. His research team examines this question from an immunological standpoint, focusing on how the immune response in highly regenerative animals influences their ability to regenerate.
